Spring Blooming trees in the Arboretum in Ottawa

Spring came early this year in Ottawa. The promise of spring's arrival kept us hopeful in the cold, long winter nights. The beautiful crap apple trees are blooming in all nuances of purple and pink. Full of fresh and sweet fragrance they re-joy our hearts and remind us to be grateful and faithful that no matter how bitter the winter is the spring always comes, no mater how dark the night is the light of the dawn always comes. It is such a delight  to stroll under the splendid blossoming trees. It is a blessing to be in the park and have your camera and possibly a model. In Ottawa we might not be able to find the famous Japanese cherry blossom trees but for me the crap apple blossoms are even prettier. They provide such a gorgeous and vivid backgrounds for our portraits.
