MINI-SESSION AGREEMENT

PORTRAIT SESSION: Client is guaranteed up to 15 minutes of shooting time.

DEPOSIT: $50 retainer fee is due at the time of booking. Your spot will be confirmed once the deposit is received. The deposit must be paid with credit card, e-transfer to koharmerdinian@gmail.com.

PAYMENT: The remaining fee must be paid on the day of the session by e-transfer to koharmerdinian@gmail.com or cash.

CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT: Sessions are non-refundable, but deposits are transferable if a date change is necessary (48 hours' notice of postponements or cancellations is appreciated).

WEATHER: If sessions are canceled due to weather or sickness, Photographer and Client will reschedule at the earliest date possible, with no additional charge.

COOPERATION/NO SHOWS: Client will arrive 5 minutes early due to short shooting window. Photographer is not responsible if Client and/or key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during portrait sessions.

COPYRIGHT & PORTFOLIO USE: All images are copyrighted to and remain the property of Captured By Kari Photography.

All photographs created by the Photographer are protected under Canadian copyright law and remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Photographer. Clients receive personal-use rights to purchased images only. Images may not be altered, edited, sold, published, or used commercially without written permission from the Photographer.

The Client grants the Photographer the irrevocable right to use and publish photographs from the session for portfolio display, website use, studio samples, social media, advertising, marketing, competitions, publication, and other lawful promotional purposes, without compensation to the Client.

Clients who prefer their images remain completely private may request a Confidentiality / No-Portfolio Option prior to the session date. Due to the creative and business value of portfolio material, this option requires an additional confidentiality fee of $50 per session and must be agreed to in writing before the session takes place.

If no written confidentiality request is made prior to the session, the Photographer reserves the right to use selected images for promotional and portfolio purposes.

The Photographer agrees to use discretion and tasteful judgment in selecting images shared publicly.

Acknowlegment

I acknowledge that the Photographer retains copyright to all images and grant permission for photographs from this session to be used for portfolio display, website content, social media, studio samples, advertising, marketing, publication, and other promotional purposes. I understand that a Confidentiality / No-Portfolio Option is available for an additional fee and must be requested before the session.

Confidentiality / Exclusivity Agreement

I request a Confidentiality / Exclusivity Agreement. I understand that the Photographer will refrain from displaying or using images from this session for portfolio or promotional purposes in exchange for an additional exclusivity fee of $50. By selecting this option, I acknowledge that I am purchasing the Photographer's agreement not to exercise otherwise permitted portfolio and promotional usage rights.
